Toomey Attributes Supercommittee Failure To 2012 Politics

During an appearance at the Heritage Foundation Tuesday, Supercommittee member Pat Toomey attributed the panel’s failure to 2012 politics.

“There were forces pulling the Democrats away from an agreement. Lets face it, we have a Presidential campaign that is now premised on the idea that the President is running against a do-nothing Congress,” said Toomey.
