U.S. Owes al-Awlaki Due Process, Says ACLU Director
ACLU Executive Director Anthony Romero discusses a lawsuit his group and the Center for Constitutional Rights are filing against the U.S. Government. The lawsuit challenges a Treasury Department provision that requires attorneys to obtain a license from the government in order to provide legal counsel to an individual that has been designated by the U.S. as a specially designated terrorist.
