Lieberman Cautions Against Letting Bush Tax Cuts Expire

Senator Joe Lieberman (I-Conn.), voiced his trepidation with letting the tax cuts for wealthy Americans passed under the bush administration expire.

“If we raise their taxes, they’re going to spend less,” said Lieberman, who cited a recent study showing that the economic slowdown last quarter was partially due to a drop in spending by the higher income bracket.  (0:27)
