TRNS Archive: Sen. Stevens Spars With Boxer During Oil Hearing

During a Senate Commerce Committee hearing with oil executives in 2005, recently deceased Senator Ted Stevens (R-Ala.), who at that point chaired Commerce, entered a heated exchange with Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) on whether the executives should be sworn in by the committee.

Stevens died in a plane crash Monday night. (1:45)
