BP, Transocean Must Be Held Accountable For Pain & Suffering, Says Lawmaker

The Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee Chairman Jay Rockefeller (D-W.V.) says that BP and Transocean should be held accountable for pain and suffering resulting from the Deepwater Horizon oil rig explosion April 20th, despite the Death on the High Seas Act, which only holds the oil giants liable for pecuniary damages such as burial costs and financial support.
