Energy Expert Supports Loans For New, Efficient Cars

Lisa Margonelli, director of the New America Foundation's Energy Initiative, explains that if $5-$10 billion dollars per year were taken from oil subsidies and used to create low-interest loans for families to purchase energy efficient vehicles, families would save money on gas and the loan itself.
