U.S. Forces Not On High Alert Following Alleged North Korea Attacks, Says Mullen
Admiral Michael Mullen, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, told reporters at the Pentagon Thursday that U.S. forces in the are not on a high state of alert following an alleged attack by North Korea against a South Korean naval vessel.
“They’re on their normal state of readiness,” Mullen said. “The forces are currently aware of what’s gone on, but we haven’t changed any readiness levels.” (0:23)
