NFL Running Back Mendenhall Says That Nearly 1 in 3 Are Overweight

National Football League (NFL) Running Back Rashard Mendenhall says studies show that nearly one out of every three children and teens are overweight. Mendenhall, who plays for the Pittsburgh Steelers, testified Thursday on the importance of fighting childhood obesity during a hearing before the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP) Committee.
