White House Health Reform Proposal Will Reduce Deficit, Says Administration Official
Nancy Ann-DeParle, Director of The White House Office of Health Care Reform, says President Barack Obama's health reform plan will take serious steps in preventing Americans from being discriminated against for having pre-existing conditions. Deparle adds that the plan should reduce the deficit by $100 billion over the next decade, give Americans the same health insurance choices as Members of Congress and bring greater accountability to the health care industry.
