Raising Taxes Will Not Solve The Federal Debt, Says Former CBO Director

During a forum held by the New American Foundation and the Peterson-Pew Commission on Budget Reform, Dr. Douglas Holtz-Eakin, Senior Fellow at the Peterson Institute for International Economics and President of DHE Consulting, LLC says that the current federal debt is not a problem that government can solve by raising taxes, but rather by reevaluating federal spending programs.
