Grateful Dead Guitarist: Fans Getting Calls From Musicians, Not Politicians

HeadCount.org, a nonpartisan group aimed at getting music fans involved in the Democratic process, announced Monday that a dozen musicians will begin calling their fans personally and urging them to head to the polls on November 2nd.

“Rather than getting a recorded or live call from a politician saying vote for me,’ what we’re going to be dispensing is … live calls saying ‘vote for you,’” Grateful Dead guitarist Weir said during a conference call with reporters. (0:15)
