Officer: No Perceivable Impact In Afghanistan Following DADT Order

A recent order from a California Federal Judge instructing the military to discontinue Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell has had no perceivable affect on U.S. troops in Afghanistan, according to one commander in the field.

“I really don’t see an impact on the soldiers here today,” Major General John Campbell told reporters via satellite from Afghanistan Wednesday. “Our soldiers … probably have no clue on that statement out there.” (0:11)
