Obama Still Plans To Close Gitmo, But Will Not Transfer Yemeni Prisoners Home

President Barack Obama said Tuesday that the Christmas eve incident, in which a young man attempted to ignite explosives aboard an airline flight, will not deter his administration’s plans to close the Guantanamo Bay detention facility, but explained that Yemeni prisoners will not be transfered back to their country.
