Human Errors In Hospitals Main Cause Of Infection, Says Health Care Advocate

Director of the Stop Hospital Infections Project, Lisa McGiffert, says that one of the biggest problems with today's health care system are human errors when practicing medicine. Conducting incorrect surgical procedures, prescribing wrong medication to patients and leaving objects inside patients' bodies after surgery are among the most common mistakes says McGiffert. (6:43)
