Health IT Reform Has Large Bipartisan Backing Says Ga. Congressman

Rep. Phil Gingrey (R-Ga.), an OB/GYN himself, says that although he disagrees with many of the Obama administration's proposals for comprehensive healthcare reform, he unequivocally supports health information technology initiatives, including requiring hospitals and doctors offices to store patients' medical records electronically rather than on paper.
