Official Says Obama Will Extend Limited Same-Sex Benefits

John Berry, the Director of the U.S. Office of Personnel Management, said Obama will sign a memorandum granting federal benefits for same-sex couples, excluding those benefits rendered illegal by the Defense of Marriage Act.
