Oregon Republican Cites Broadcast Background As Support For Local Radio Legislation

Rep. Greg Walden (R-Ore.) says he supports H.R. 1147, otherwise known as the Local Community Radio Act of 2009. Walden cites his 22 years of broadcast engineering experience as a reason for supporting the legislation which would allow low power FM radio stations to occupy dial positions closer to those operated by large commercial stations.
