Economist Proposes Replacing Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac With "McGees"

Jay Brinkmann, Chief Economist and CEO at the Mortgage Bankers Association, introduces a plan to replace the current government-sponsored enterprises Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac with Mortgage Credit Guarantor Entities, pronounced "McGees." Brinkmann spoke at the Cato Institute on Monday. (0:20)
