Lanny-
I am a friend of of a friend of yours- Judy Mopsick and media professional, Jewish educator and Judaic artist. I often lecture to the American Jewish jewis hcommunity about their P.R. /Hasbarah efforts, which have been quite poor. You cant influence th eaverage well meaning American with PhD white paper info.
I heard you on the radio respond to questions on Israel- C Span and You did very well, but we need to understand media better. It cant be reactive, but needs to be very proactive and wide- posters in the metro and bus stops, outdoor billboards, radio spot ads. I did see one time an Israel projeect TV ad and it was OK, but one ad does not make a campaign. Why dont I see Hadassah doing print ads by Hadassah creatively saying Israel gives quality health care for both arab and Jew equally? All other orgs need to get to gether with out always being territorial , doing little to nothing in educating the american public who really know little, nothing or the wrong info. Much more from us and the Israel info office needs to be done.
