It's always fascinating when the media, lacking interviewees of serious interest, reports on itself. Worse, in this case a known ideologue-posing-as-reporter gives an interview that---shocking!---unburdens himself of the never-heard-before leftist critique that Bush has "shredded" the Constitution. (I love these kinds of metaphors: did the president go to the National Archives exhibit and actually feed the original document into a shredding machine?)

Please, give us either real news, real insight, or a man-bites-dog story. Any idiot can log onto the Nation's website.
