John Walsh makes the case for a national DNA database
America’s Most Wanted Host John Walsh says at the opening of The National Museum of Crime and Punishment that he believes the country should spend more money on testing DNA and rape kits for women and children. He believes technology and crime scene investigation labs are the “wave of the future,” and that DNA is the fingerprint of the 21st century. He asks “do we not love our women and children enough” to make sure there is a national DNA database and that every convicted felon has their DNA taken? (1:16)
