"Gimmicks and games" are being played with the war supplemental bill
Rep. Jeff Miller (R-Fla.) says in an interview at the House Republican Radio Row that the best way to fund the war is with a clean supplemental bill, not loaded with anything but what the war fighters need. He says he is a proponent of using a minimum of four percent of the gross domestic product for military spending, and that military equipment and aircrafts are aging and need to be replaced. He also says other priorities for Republicans include providing outstanding healthcare to as many returning veterans as possible and focusing on renewable energy. He says that an alternative energy resolution should not be a political issue, but that everyone needs to come together to solve this problem for future generations.
