Ambassador Wisner says the United States must be heavily involved in Kosovo if peace is to be maintained

At the discussion “Kosovo: What Next?” held at the United States Institute of Peace, Ambassador Frank G. Wisner, Special Representative of the Secretary of State to the Kosovo Status talks, says first and foremost if peace is to be maintained [in Kosovo], the United States and the Europeans must be heavily involved in the detailed protection of the minorities in order to produce success.
