Senator,

I am writing you to express my profound displeasure to the outsourcing of the US Air Force tanker contract ($40 Billions) to Northrop-Grumman and to Air Bus.

My concerns are three folds:
1. Loss of national independence as a major enabler of the US strategic and tactical weapons systems falls under partial control of foreign governments through the control of the logistic support (spare parts) of the air-refueling tanker.
2. Loss of Job in the United States in one of the last remaining industrial sector where the United States has a significant lead
3. Increase in the break-even volume of Boeing production line, making Boeing less competitive in the commercial market place for the derivative commercial airliner from which the tanker is derived.

This additional loss follows the loss of the Presidential Helicopter to Augusta.
