NASA Explains New 'Solar Sailing' Technology

Daniel J. O’Shaughnessy, Lead for MESSENGER’s Guidance and Control subsystem, explains the technology behind 'Solar Sailing'. This new technology will allow the MESSENGER spacecraft to make new advancements in the study of Mercury's surface.
