Democratic Presidential Debate: Former Sen. John Edwards (D-N.C.) responds on the question of the spread of AIDS among minority communities by saying that America needs to stop depending on the private sector to solve this problem.

Edwards lists three solutions that his campaign advocates to prevent the further spread of the disease: funding the search for a cure, making treatment available for everyone, and making sure Medicaid covers drugs and treatment. (0:38)
