Sen. Bob Menendez (D-NJ) said that family reunification should be important in consideration of a comprehensive overhaul of U.S. immigration policy.

Menendez said in a news conference that for his amendment, if U.S. believes that having family creates more productive citizens, then family reunification should be at the heart of the matter.
