Sen. Byron Dorgan (D-ND) explains the penalties associated with the violation of the Decent Working Conditions & Fair Competition Act.

Dorgan proposes a $10,000 fine for each violation of the proposed legislation in conjunction with the right of competitors to seek an injunction and compensation from retailers who violate the act. (0:35)
