Senator Edward Kennedy (D-MA) remarks how long the fight to raise minimum has been around in a conference call briefing.

Senator Kennedy comments that minimum wage goes back to the time of Roosevelt, and remembers that since he started in the senate in 1962, he recalls his brother Jack Kennedy fighting for minimum wage in 1960. (0:43)
