In a fundraising memo to constituents on Tuesday, Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) said that President Obama would like to see the nation’s debt limit raised “without a single cut!”
However, reports today noted that Obama has already agreed to at least $500 billion in long-term spending reductions in exchange for GOP support to raise the debt limit.
Paul urged support for his Cut Federal Spending Act, which he says would immediately shave $500 billion off the budget through cuts to a variety of federal agencies.
