House Jobs Plan Centers Around Lower Tax Rates

House Republicans released a plan Thursday that they say will lower unemployment and reduce the deficit.

The plan would bring down the top corporate tax rate, from 35% to 25%, and would allow businesses to carry profits made overseas into the U.S. tax free.

By focusing on cutting taxes, spending and regulations, GOP’ers may be trying to shift attention away from their plan to reform Medicare.
