House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.) said Wednesday that his chamber will likely work on a package of tax reform later this year.
During a panel discussion with local business leaders in Cantor’s home district of Richmond, the number two Republican in the House said that his party will focus on cutting corporate and individual rates and eliminating what he referred to as “special interest loopholes.”
“I think you’re gonna see some activity throughout the rest of the year,” he said.
