DoD: Helicopter Incident Along Pakistan's Border Under Investigation

After receiving indirect and direct fire, NATO helicopters reportedly crossed the Afghanistan-Pakistan border Tuesday and exchanged fire with Pakistani troops.

According to Pentagon spokesperson Col. Dave Lapan, the incident, which took place amid the tribal area of North Waziristan, is under investigation and that the circumstances surrounding the exchange have not yet been determined.

Pakistan reports that two soldiers were wounded.
