Former Vice Presidential candidate and Alaska governor Sarah Palin (R-Alaska) weighed in on the situation in Wisconsin where 14 Democratic state senators fled the state in protest of a budget that includes language that strips unions of their collective bargaining rights.
Appearing on Fox News, Palin was asked if she would fire the senators for avoiding voting on Gov. Scott Walker’s budget. She said she would fire all 14 state senators.
“They absolutely should be fired, they should be recalled,” Palin said. “They’ve retreated, it’s not like they’re reloading, they’ve retreated, they’re not doing their job.”
