During an interview with a Christian news outlet on Wednesday, Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) said that former Alaska Gover Sarah Palin has been unfairly judged at times by members of the media.
Bachmann, the outspoken conservative who chairs the House’s Tea Party Caucus, told David Brody of the Christian Broadcasting Network that Palin has been “unfairly criticized and I think we’ve seen that with other conservative woman as well across the country whether they’re political commentators or whether they’re in public service.”
Bachmann and Palin are frequently compared to each other due to the fact that both are conservative women who rarely hesitate to criticize President Obama in public. Should Bachmann run for President next year, she and Palin, the 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee, would have even more in common.
