Report: Four New York Times Reporters Missing In Libya

The New York Times reported Wednesday that four of its reporters are missing in Libya amid the continuing unrest.

According to the Times, second-hand reports indicate the four may have been detained by Gadaffi’s supporters. Executive editor Bill Keller is quoted saying that the paper has been in touch with the Libyan government, but has not confirmed the journalists are being held.

“We are grateful to the Libyan government for their assurance that if our journalists were captured they would be released promptly and unharmed,” Keller said.
