Poll: Majority Of Americans Side With Labor Unions

A majority of Americans are opposed to newly elected Republican governors efforts to strip the collective bargaining rights from union employees, according to a poll.

A New York Times/CBS News poll revealed that 60 percent of voters say they oppose weakening employees’ bargaining rights, compared to 33 percent.

Figures reflect a poll conducted Feb. 24-27 and included 984 voters.
