President Barack Obama said Egypt is moving forward in its efforts to end a lasting standoff between President Hosni Mubarak and those seeking his departure.
“Obviously Egypt has to negotiate a path, but I think they’re making progress,” he told reporters during his walk back to the White House from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Monday.
The tumult that has plagued Egypt for nearly two weeks has killed nearly 300 and injured many more.
