President Barack Obama is heading to Michigan Thursday to unveil his administration’s plan to enhance wireless access across the country.
The President will be visiting Northern Michigan University in Marquette and is scheduled to see a demonstration of the school’s WiMAX network, a project that helps students learn remotely.
The wireless plan, which aims to provide 98 percent of the country with wireless access in the next five yearts, is the latest step in the White House’s “Win the Future” initiative, which focuses on making education and innovation investments across the county.
