According to recent reports, at least one envelope has ignited while being sorted at a Washington, D.C. postal facility.

Postal workers at a facility in Northeast Washington said that they smelled smoke coming from a sorting bin after having respectively sorted the envelope.

Investigators are hard at work trying to determine whether this incident has any connection with Thursday’s packages that burst into flames at two Maryland state government buildings.

No injuries have been reported.
