No U.S. Assistance Following Quake In Pakistan

Pakistan has not requested any U.S. assistance following Tuesday’s earthquake in the country.

According to Pentagon spokesperson Col. David Lapan, aide was not required since the area hardest hit was sparsely populated.

The earthquake hit the Southwest region of the country and had a magnitude of 7.2 according to the U.S. Geological Survey
