House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) is leading the crusade against possible voter intimidation at polls across the nation today.

In a last-minute GOTV email blast, Hoyer claims that Republicans have attempted to discourage Democrats from voting in this year’s midterm elections.

“We’ve already had disturbing reports about the Republicans trying to depress voter turnout in Democratic areas.”

Hoyer adds that Democrats will be watching today for “suspicious” activity.
