Former President Jimmy Carter is reportedly feeling close to 100% after battling with a stomach virus that sent the president to the hospital late last week.

Carter told CBS’s “The Early Show” that “I feel fine.” He says he had “one day of intensive hospital care and I’ve been out working ever since.”

Carter was in Washington, D.C. last week before being sent to the hospital where he was overseeing a Habitat For Humanity project. Habitat for Humanity plans to build six homes and rehabilitate another six in Washington’s Ivy City neighborhood. It’s one part of a project to construct or repair a total of 86 homes in Washington, Baltimore and Annapolis, Maryland, St. Paul, Minnesota and Birmingham, Alabama.
