The whistleblower site WikiLeaks announced via Twitter Friday that they will make a “major” announcement during a press conference in Europe Saturday.
The site is expected to release 400,000 classified documents on the Iraq war. In anticipation of the release, the Pentagon has assembled a 120 person review team.
Democracy Now!’s Amy Goodman said Friday that Daniel Ellsberg, the analyst who broke legal ground in 1971 by leaking the Pentagon Papers on the Vietnam war, will be attending the conference.
