Several shots were fired at the Pentagon early Tuesday morning, prompting a brief lockdown and a shutdown of a segment of the nearby highway.

At least two bullets hit the building’s south side. Five shots were reportedly heard.

According to Pentagon spokesperson Col. David Lapan, there were no arrests and no injuries. Lapan could not say if there was any connection between Tuesday’s gunshots and an occurrence over the weekend at a Marine Corps Museum in Virginia, wherein an unknown gunman shot at several windows.

This is the first shooting incident at the Pentagon since gunman John Bedell opened fire at the Pentagon’s metro station in early March. Bedell injured two officers and was shot by the police shortly after.
