According to a CNN/Time/Opinion Research Corporation poll, Senator Patty Murray (D) leads by 8 points in Washington against her Republican rival Dino Rossi.
Murray holds 51 percent of those polled while Rossi has been able to secure 43 percent. The poll out Wednesday shows that the gap between Murray and Rossi has been closed by only one point since the middle of September.
