Former Major General Paul D. Eaton tells TRNS what he thinks the future may hold for Libya. Eaton notes that although the country has overthrown the Gaddafi regime, there are still plenty of obstacles, from tribalism to the threats posed by remaining weapons caches.
Eaton also explains that there were almost certainly European intelligence personnel on the ground and that NATO’s justification for the operation, protecting civilians, was simply a fig leaf. (11:12)
