Sen. Jim Bunning (R-KY.) introduced a new resolution this morning, asking for a Senate rule change that would subject all bills to a 72-hour waiting period in which legislation would be fully scored by the Congressional Budget Office before any Senate committees considers it.

If passed, the final score will be made be available on the official website of the committee as well as the Congressional Budget Offic'se website for public view.

Bunning quoted a recent survey that found that "83% of voters say legislation should be posted online in final form." Bunning stated his belief that this will improve the public's opinion of Congress.
