Local Elections Next Step In Ivory Coast, Says State Department Official

William Fitzgerald, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for the Bureau of African Affairs, says local legislative elections in the Ivory Coast will take place within the next three-to-four months with the help of new President Alassane Ouattara during a hearing Thursday with the House Subcommittee on Africa, Global Health, and Human Rights.
