Pentagon Press Secretary Not Surprised By Writer's Denied Embed Request

During a briefing Thursday, Pentagon Press Secretary Geoff Morrell questioned how anybody could be surprised that Rolling Stone writer Michael Hasting’s request to embed with U.S. troops in Afghanistan was denied.

“You’re only as good as your word and clearly [unit commanders] don’t believe his word is worth much,” Morrell said. (0:21)
